LapTracker makes it easy to time and score your event by providing two independent stopwatches, the facility for assessing 'minor' and 'major' penalty seconds ('on the fly', or after the fact), support for vehicle 'classes', support for DNS/DNF events, and the ability to change a mis-entry instantly. Need to edit something? - The two time-grids are where you'd do this.

This is the grid where 'penalty seconds' are stored (they're indexed by their associated lap/run number). A single mouse-action gets you here for editing - and takes you back to the StopWatches page again. Or, you can just double-click a vehicle ID (in the grids) and you'll be presented with the associated penalty seconds for that run without leaving the stopwatches page.

Quickly producing accurate timing results - Event Reporting Features.

There's no point to timing an event with a tool like LapTracker unless you can create highly accurate 'Event Results' reports quickly, and easily. LapTracker doesn't require a separate spread-sheet program to do this - fast, flexible reporting is built-in. Print to screen, and/or to a printer.

Automating Event Management - Automatic Data-Entry Features.

You'll flesh-out the Master Database with information about every competitor (e.g. each member of your club), including: Vehicle number, vehicle class, vehicle type, driver name, and remarks. Then, you'll use single button clicks to construct an event 'starting-grid'. During the event, all competitors' information will be entered into the stopwatches, in sequence, for you. Last minute change in running order - like, 'Where the heck did he come from?' (Now that never happens, does it?) No prob. Just edit-in the correct information in the StopWatches page time-grids, and keep on truckin'. LapTracker won't miss a beat

Stopwatches that 'trigger themselves' - External Timing Trigger Functions.

Hook a single photo-cell up to your computer and LapTracker will time two vehicles simultaneously (this works great as long as you stagger-start so that the two cars won't ever end up at the start/finish line at the same time). You choose which stopwatch (or neither) will receive trigger events from the 'cell and so control which car gets timed as it comes by.
