Mona Sturgeon gave me this one today
At Marshalltown, the drivers were using transponders for scoring.
Apparently, several of the transponder boxes were missing, which cost
each driver 200 bucks to replace! Well, some of the officials were up in
a tower with the AMB guys from Switzerland. It was getting to become
dark when all of a sudden the amb guys started talking to each other
excitedly in dutch, at least the english speaking people thought it was
dutch, anyway, the amb guys started running to the track. At night the
transponders give off a blinking, that the swiss guys were sure happy to
see. Thinking they had found about 10 transponders, they were sure
surpised when they flew away........ Guess they dont have fireflies in
Switzerland!
