I have a rather boring story, but it was a lesson learned for me. It was my
very first street race and probably only my 3rd kart race. By luck of draw
I was starting in 2nd place when the green flag flew. About half way
through the first lap I get a little tap from the kart behind me. Not
knowing any better I figured I would move over for that kart. Big mistake!
I got passed by a ten kart freight train! I was young and foolish! The
best part, a good friend of ours captured it on video tape. This happened
about 15 years ago and I still have the tape!
